Nick was the first CEO of PADI and the person most responsible for the diving standards now followed by all training organizations. Bob Croft set a breath hold deep diving record of 240 feet in 1968.

The Crofts recently celebrated their 53 wedding anniversary. Bob was a Navy diver who set a record 240 foot breath hold dive in 1968.
