Buddy's is Great Monday is Caribbean night, $20 per person plus free one drink coupon during the usual 2 for 1 Happy Hour 5:30-6:30. per person.

South Area Dives

Overall cooler than last year, vis somewhat less than last year. Reefs very much alive, lots of fish and many many schools of all kinds of small fish.

Sat: Buddy's Reef,

both of these just north of Buddy's - great, easy, vis = 50+ feet, no current. We have seen turtles, dolphins in this area.

Sun: Red Slave and Sweet dreams

- difficult surf, some current, sting rays of various types.

Vista Blue -

great, decent entry and exit in the surf, jelly fish and barracuda. A definite do-over.

Mon: Aquarius and Red Beryl

- GREAT. Jelly fish and octopus in the day. Drifted or reverse drifted actually from Aquarius to Red Beryl. A definite do-over.

Reef Scientifico, La Machaca

both of these just north of Buddy's - great, easy, vis = 50+ feet, no current. We have seen turtles, dolphins in this area.

Wonderful photo ops as usual. Overall water temps 81-83 F.

Salt City and Invisibles

- drifted from Salt City to Invisibles where the most notable sights were turtles and a large grouper at a cleaning station. Pretty easy entry and exit.

Jeannie's Glory - just north of Salt Pier

a larger puffer fish - left the site as a cargo ship was docking to take on sea salt from the salt works.



 

Wed: North of Kralendijk

Small sea horse

Petries Pillar and Andrea 1

- turtles, barracuda at Petries Pillar and Spanish Hog Fish at Andrea I. Decent entry and exit.

Witches Hut -

good dive, decent entry and exit, nice spiney lobster

North Belnem

- south of Kralendijk - easy entry and exit, scorpion fish and nice spotted eel.

Klein Bonaire.

Nice site with lots of life including turtles

Bonaire Dive Summary

Wonderful photo ops as usual but compromised by particulates in the water for any kind of distance shots. White Spotted File Fish

Rum Punch Night

Fri is Rum Punch night - all you can drink in 1 hour followed by BBQ night - also $20

We took the day off for shopping and other relaxing activities
